I was contacted by someone from London asking if there were plans to set up an instance of DIYtraffic there. I replied we'd love to see it there, if someone can produce a reliable rss feed for live traffic data for the city.
Does anyone know of such a feed for London?
Or for all of UK?
There's a georss feed
By kaerastThere's a georss feed created from bbc backstage/labs data. I'm using the Bradford data on a project I'm playing with, I don't know how useful the London data is in general or specifically for diytraffic.
re: georss feed
By John GeraciThat looks like it could do the trick. Though not being from London myself, I'm not sure if I'm the one to oversee this particular project. I see feeds for London West, London East etc etc. I think this needs guidance by a local's hand.
Does anyone want to coordinate with us to get a DIYtraffic set up for London? Think it should go very quickly if we do.
feed format?

thanks for the pointer - that looks like it cold be a good source for traffic info across the uk. but do you know what's up with the data format?
that doesn't seem like kosher rss to me? sees like a weird combo of rss and rdf?!?
as long as it's stable (i.e. they don't change the format), shouldn't be too hard to write code to parse it....
